In January 2003 Morbaine received full consent for the development of a new B&Q Supercentre store on this site that was occupied by Brooklyn Ford Motors.

The consent allowed for the building out of a 46,550 sq.ft. store with 15,000 sq.ft. of external garden centre and 210 car parking spaces for customers.

The site extended to 3.7 acres and was an active garage and car showroom for many years. The development has allowed the owners to move to new modern premises close by and to continue to expand their business in Evesham.

Allenbuild Limited were appointed as main contractors and the construction commenced in January 2004 and the store opened in August 2004.

The development was pre-sold to Windsor Trust Limited.
