This site was developed to sit alongside the retained existing B&Q DIY store on Bridge Lane.

Construction was started on the 2,550 sq.ft. restaurant in February 2007 and the unit was handed over to KFC on 9th July 2007 who opened for trading in late August 2007.

The scheme also enlarges B&Q's car park by 55 no. spaces.
